Serena Williams the #1 women's tennis player in the world took a mean upset at the U.S open losing in the semifinals to Roberta Vinci. The match before that she took an emotional win over her sister Venus Williams. Serena losing to Roberta shocked the whole world because Roberta is not even close to being ranked and Serena has been #1 for so long. Beating Serena helped Roberta out a whole lot after beating her she moved up to #19 in the world. Overall Serena is still best in the world with 69 singles titles. This just shows you not to underestimate your opponent no matter their rank.
