“The Whites have played three La Liga games and one Champions League fixture.”

Real Madrid have kept clean sheets in their first four competitive fixtures for the first time in the club's 113 year history. The run began against Gijón (0-0) and has continued up to the side's debut in this year's Champions League against Shakhtar Donetsk (4-0). Sandwiched between those games, there were two other clashes: Betis (5-0) and Espanyol (0-6). The Whites came close to achieving this feat on three occasions, but in the 57-58 season as well as in 89-90 and 2010-11 they conceded a goal in the fourth game.
