Messi Injury
Lionel Messi has suffered a knee injury, early ,at a home,  in Saturday's La Liga game against Las Palmas and will now face seven to eight weeks on the sidelines, according to the club. Messi has a tear in the internal collateral ligament in his left knee. This injury had him have a substitution at the 10th minute, causing it to be the earliest substitution for him.

The injury was caused when Messi cut in from the right side of the field, then shot with his left foot only then to be blocked by a defender. When he tried to go on in the game, he later couldn’t and so was subbed for youngster, Munir.

"I'm always sad when one of my players gets injured, and even more when it's Messi,'' manager Luis Enrique said after the game. "But we need to accept the challenge and understand that this is part of football and get through it.

In the end, Barcelona then won the game against Las Palmas with Luis Suarez scoring two brilliant goals. Ending with a 2-1 win.
