• Notorious B.I.G. A rapper who was shot and killed by a drive-by shooting in LA. He was 24 when he died.
• Steve Prefontaine, He was a long distance runner with one leg shorter than the other. After he had dropped off his friend his car swerved left and hit a rock wall. The overturned car trapped Prefontaine under it and killed him before the ambulance got to the scene. He was 24.
• Robert Pershing Wadlow, Known to be the tallest man in history with evidence. Had died do to complications. He died at age 22
• Ian Curtis, A band member from Joy Division who had excused himself from Celebrating their upcoming American tour at a nightclub, went home and hung himself. He was 23.
• Sid vicious, Bassist of the band called Sex Pistols who after he was released from bail. He went to his new girlfriend's house and overdosed on heroin. He was 21.
• River Phoenix, An actor who had overdosed on heroin outside of Hollywood nightclub and died. Died at age 23.
• Buddy Holly, A bluegrass musician who had formed a band called The Crickets. Died in a plane crash at age 23.
• Lee Harvey Oswald, Known to be responsible for killing John F. Kennedy, was shot and killed on live TV by Jack Ruby. Lee was 24.
• James Dean, A famous actor who had only made 3 films. Died in a tragic motoring accident at the age of 24.
