Volcanic eruption
closes Indonesian airports
Mount Rinjani erupted from Lombok island blasted ash and debris into the air on November 4th. The eruption shut down flights in Ngurah Rai international airport, Selaparang airport, and the Blimbingsari airport. A total of 692 flights were either cancelled or delayed. The airlines were told to avoid routes near the mountain.
