2015-2016 NBA Season Thoughts

The Houston Rockets seem to be in a very good position to easily make it to the Playoffs. The 2014- 2015 season had a lot of injured players, including pointguard Patrick Beverley, who was out for the season from a wrist surgery, as well as powerforward Donatas Motiejunas, who was out for back surgery. Even so, the Rockets still advanced to the Semi-finals along with the Golden State Warriors, where they got knocked off the Finals. This offseason, the Houston Rockets acquired two solid draft picks, Montrezl Harrell and Sam Dekker. They also obtained Ty Lawson from the Denver Nuggets, and reports say that he’s confident that he's the missing piece.Overall, I believe that the Rockets can make it this year, however, we also have to be conscious about other teams. For example, the OKC Thunder will get Kevin Durant back soon, as well as the Cavaliers will have Kyrie Irving back in full recovery. The Western Conference is going to be really tough this NBA season, but I believe that the Houston Rockets have the talent and skill to be a great team this year.
